Huawei has had a long journey of just being a telecommunication giant to a top-notch smartphone maker. Surely, the Chinese giant is blazing all guns when it comes to the smartphone division. Apparently, the reports are doing the rounds that Huawei’s Research and Development department is working on a groundbreaking technology. And is planning to launch it very soon.
Take the news with a pinch of salt but ruling it out completely does not sound like justice because at Huawei the R&D spending had a meteorically surge to $14 billion.
Not to mention that with that kind of spending, Huawei has carved its place in the topmost R&D spending companies of the world. This kind of spending has reflected in the features like triple camera setup which was baked into Huawei P20 Pro.
As far our guess goes, in hardware division, that kind of spending mean anything related to the independent NPU module. And also, the processor of its phone to speed up the Machine learning. In the software department, it could have to do something with the Operating System.
Nova 3e launch
We would know as and when Huawei decides to make it mysterious technology public but before that, another big event is coming up for the company as it gears up to launch Nova 3e in Malaysia, a rebranded version of the Huawei P20 Lite. Hauwei launched this device in India for roughly INR 20K. Nove 3e will also come with 24 MP front facing.
The smartphone would be encased in all glass body with a dual vertical camera setup at the rear. Just like all other smartphone makers, Huawei has also gathered that now is the time for vertically stacked cameras. And this feature will be available in rebranded P20 Lite.
How the Malaysian folks receive the new smartphone remains to be seen. On the other hand, the new hidden technology on which Huawei is working on is getting all the right kind of noise.
